Central Telegraph PJSC has refused to apply a moratorium on initiating bankruptcy proceedings against itself. The corresponding statement of the company is posted on Fedresurs.
Thus, the company will not be subject to the moratorium imposed by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of March 28, 2022.
From April 1, 2022, the government introduced a six-month moratorium on initiating bankruptcy cases at the request of creditors in relation to legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and citizens. To retain the right to pay dividends or conduct buybacks, an issuer must waive the moratorium.
The main shareholder of Central Telegraph is PJSC Rostelecom, which owns 60% of the charter capital and 80% of voting shares.
